an Alpine plant, has been esteemed diaphoretic and vulnerary (?) A volatile oil called Esprit d'lva, is obtained from it in Switzerland, which is much prized for its musky odour. It is said, by Merat and De Lens, to be the Genipi of the Savoyards, which is usually referred to Artemisia rupestris.
