An e. consisting, according to the U. S. Ph., of a permanent concentrated solution of a vegetable drug made of such a strength that, in the U. S. Ph., 1 cubic centimeter contains the medicinal principles and represents the virtues of 1 gram of the drug. The U. S. Ph. now employs the term "fluidextract" for this class of preparations; but the term is little used popularly.
