Chaussier has given this epithet to the vessels of the cerebellum. These are three in number; two of which are inferior: the larger, inferior cerebelli, which arises from the posterior cerebral or vertebral; and the smaller, whose existence is not constant, from the meso-cephalic or basilary :-the third, called A. cerebelleuse superieure (superior cerebelli,) is also a branch of the basilary.
